Tim Veach of Columbus Dance Theatre introduces students to movement, music, choreography and performance. A 15-minute demonstration by students follows at 11:00 am.

Singer and guitarist James Hersch blends musical talent, humor and sensitivity to create songs that unite his audiences from elementary school students to senior citizens. His REACH program received the Harry Chapin Award for Contributions to Humanity from the National Association for Campus Activities.

Mark Hayward - Yo Yo Champion
World yo-yo champion Mark Hayward is a master of unusual props, object manipulation and, of course, yo-yos! With a witty style and lightning speed, Mark’s performance is truly unlike anything you’ve ever seen before.

Lone Raven
From haunting Celtic tunes to original compositions, Lone Raven performs a unique blend of world music featuring more than 30 instruments and five-part vocal harmony. Father-daughter duo Craig and Kara Markley form the cornerstone of Lone Raven. They are joined by Elizabeth Blickenstaff, Mark Richards, and the mother-daughter team of Hilda, Heather and Stephanie Doyle.

Orchestra members, including the Generations Trio, Veronika String Quartet and pianist Judith Lynn Stillman, serve the perfect musical dessert for a great Festival by performing many works well known as encores.

Bike Races for Kids
Grab your helmet, put your pedals to the pavement and head to the races at Zane Square. Prizes for best bike decorations and race winners are presented by Fairfield Medical Center.

Local musicians are invited to perform with members of the Lancaster Festival Orchestra and Maestro Gary Sheldon. Call 740-687-4808 for music or come out to watch your friends perform with the professional musicians.

Rosemont Crossing
With three-part harmonies and skilled guitar playing, Rosemont Crossing’s roots-based Americana music features both original songs and contemporary favorites. Doug Wenger, Neil Snider, Donna Rawlins and Scott Siedow are joined by new members Robert Feist and Mark Tobler. They will release their new CD later this year.

Arnett Howard presents: That Sweet Soul Music
Arnett Howard and friends present a revival of sweet Southern soul music typified by recording companies Stax, King Records and Atlantic Records during the 1960s. Those memorable artists include Booker T. and the MGs, Solomon Burke, Don Covay, Otis Redding, Carla Thomas, Sam Moore and Dave Prater, Al Green, Wilson Pickett, James Brown and Aretha Franklin.

Robin Lacy and DeZydeco
Dust off your dancing shoes and jazz it up ‘New Awlins’ style with Robin Lacy and DeZydeco. From the traditional Cajun style of southwest Louisiana to New Orleans R&B, Creole funk and rock ‘n’ roll, Robin says “if you ain’t havin’ fun, it’s your own darn fault!”
